2012 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, INDUCTION OF NEW FELLOWS AND SYMPOSIUM "CANADA IN AVIATION AND SPACE: PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE"

Our Annual General Meeting and Lunch is scheduled for the afternoon of June 21 (CAE Fellows only) at the Novotel Hotel. A reception and dinner, which will feature the induction of new Fellows, will be held on the evening of Thursday, June 21 at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. After the dinner, there will be a presentation by CAE Fellow Herb Saravanamuttoo, who will discuss “After the Arrow – Lessons Learned”. On June 22, the Symposium “Canada in Aviation and Space: Past, Present and Future” will be held at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. Our President-Elect, Moyra McDill, and the organizing committee have organized an excellent program which will include a presentation at lunch by Bruce Burlton, who will speak on the topic of “The Rescue of Anik E2”. Closing remarks will be presented by CAE Fellow Philip A. Lapp.

2011 DINNER, INDUCTION OF NEW FELLOWS, ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, AND SYMPOSIUM ON "CANADA AS A SUSTAINABLE ENERGY SUPERPOWER: REALIZING THE VISION"

The Canadian Academy of Engineering's Annual General Meeting, Induction of New Fellows, and Symposium were held on Thursday, June 2 and Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Sutton Place Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia. Twenty-five of the forty-five new Fellows were able to attend the induction ceremony.

2010 DINNER, INDUCTION OF NEW FELLOWS, ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND SYMPOSIUM ON "LOW EMISSION ELECTRICITY GENERATION, DISTRIBUTION, AND USE IN TRANSPORTATION"

The Academy’s 2010 Dinner and Induction of New Fellows took place at the Sutton Place Hotel in Toronto on Thursday, June 3, 2010. The AGM and Symposium took place at the MaRS Collaboration Centre on Friday, June 4, 2010. Thirty-four of the forty-eight newly-elected members were able to attend the Induction ceremony.
